What is Playa Pallet?
Playa Pallet is a wooden box designed for marine waste collected on beaches.
The purpose of Playa Pallet is to make beach cleanups a natural part of your visit to the ocean. We don’t need a set date or a group of people to pick up waste. Playa Pallets are open 24/7, so cleanups can happen whenever there is a beach to clean.
By removing larger pieces of plastic waste, you help prevent them from reentering the sea and breaking down into microplastic particles that are impossible to collect and often have fatal consequences for marine life. Help create a clean environment and inspire others to follow.

Global Plastics Crisis
Plastic is everywhere, in our oceans, soil, air, food, and even our bodies, yet production keeps increasing. Cleaning up is no longer enough. We must close the tap through bans on unnecessary single use plastics, stronger legislation, and better alternatives.
While we must push for systemic change, cleaning up still matters. Beach cleanups help highlight the problem, allow us to document and share what we find through photos and data, and raise awareness in our communities. Removing larger plastic items prevents them from reentering the ocean and breaking down into microplastics, protecting marine life and inspiring others to act.
